Sandy has earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Sandy has experience working with those struggling with substance abuse, couples, adolescents, and families. She is trained in Gottman and Emotion-Focused Couple’s Therapy. Sandy is passionate about helping and guiding couples and families experiencing relationship difficulties. Sandy’s approach is unique and catered to every client’s culture, personal experience, and immediate needs. Sandy likes to work from a person-centered narrative approach by allowing the client(s) to heal and be their best self through a humanistic approach. In the past Sandy has worked with families struggling with grief, adolescents transitioning through the social system, individuals struggling with substance use, individuals with borderline disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other personality disorders. Sandy’s goal is to help individuals, couples and families thrive and heal while still remaining true to their authentic self. Sandy is bilingual in English and Arabic. Sandy enjoys spending time with her loved ones and playing with her fur babies in her free time.
