When it comes to sex, exploring things outside of the norms of society can be hard. Talking about it can be awkward or uncomfortable. Even just thinking about it can be a struggle. When we think about sex, we think about the heteronormative definition, that anything outside of monogamous sex and relationships is wrong. Because this is the norm, a lot of time, it’s unknown that there is a world of other options out there to explore
such as polyamory, open relationships, serial monogamy, kink, and more. Along the same lines, understanding and exploring one's body can be difficult as well.
Especially if there has been trauma that can bring up bad memories, flashbacks, or triggers. This can make you feel uncomfortable with your body and even being inside your body.

As a mom, wife, friend, and professional, many people rely on us for everything. By the time you meet those requirements, there is not much to pour into yourself; however, remember, before you can pour into others, you must also remember to give YOU attention. Oftentimes, you might feel like you can handle it ALL until one day you can’t, and you are left feeling down, lonely, and TIRED. Does this sound like you? I am here to say, “hold on a little longer my friend, you can be ALL these things,” but remember YOU in the process.
