Shauntay earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family
Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She has experience working with adults, couples, children, and adolescents. Shauntay has worked with those who have experienced sexual assault, grief, anxiety, depression, and daily life struggles. She is passionate about working with the client to help get them to where they want to be in their lives, gain new perspectives, and heal. Shauntay uses approaches that include Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Shauntay enjoys reading, going to parks and the beach, and watching all genres of movies and tv shows in her free time. She also loves animals.

Her specialty is working with adults and children who are struggling to express themselves and/or who suffer from depression and anxiety. She has also worked alongside children during their developmental stages to assist with behavioral concerns within a school and home setting. Samantha’s primary theoretical orientation consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but she can utilize a variety of different techniques to best help her clients. Samantha strongly believes that by creating a safe, warm, validating, and supportive environment, it can lead to growth and empowerment over time.
